Frequently asked questions about the Maera Colombia King Size
What's included in the set?
The set includes the Flora organic cotton hammock and the Maera stand – along with all parts and illustrated setup instructions.
Do I need trees or wall hooks?
No. The set is complete – set up the stand, hook in the hammock, done. No wall, no tree needed.
Is the hammock suitable for outdoor use?
The Flora organic cotton hammock is best suited to sheltered areas and indoor use. For permanent outdoor use we recommend the Maera Outdoor set.
How long does setup take?
Around 15–30 minutes. The necessary tools are included, along with illustrated instructions.
Can I wash the hammock?
Yes, the Flora hammock is machine washable. You'll find the exact care instructions on the product label.
How much weight does the set hold?
The King Size set holds up to 440 lbs. Please observe the stated maximum.
Can I use the Maera stand with other hammocks too?
The hammock is already included in this set – but the Maera stand itself fits all King Size hammocks, with or without a spreader bar.
How does a hammock without a spreader bar differ from one with a spreader bar?
Without a spreader bar, the hammock molds around the body – a deeper, enveloping lying sensation. With a spreader bar, the hammock always stays invitingly open.
Is the set available with a different type of stand?
Yes. The same Flora hammock is also available in the Nautico Colombia set in robust galvanized steel – whichever suits your taste and your space.
