    This hammock is 100% organic cotton, grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and defoliants.

  • Lower water and energy consumption

    The absence of artificial fertilizers and harsh pesticides protects our precious soils. Together with the alternating cultivation of organic cotton and other plants – also known as crop rotation – thisapproach contributes to the higher storage capacity of the soil and to comparatively low water consumption. Energy consumption is also significantly lower than in the production of conventional cotton.

    Certification by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures compliance with strict environmental criteria. Starting with the cultivation of organic cotton, the ecological requirements extend along the entire value chain.   • Where is the best place for my hammock stand?

    When choosing a place for your hammock stand, make sure that the ground is level and not too wet to prevent unwanted movement or sinking. The stand can be repositioned and moved as needed, so you are not tied down to one spot.

  • How do I care for my stand?

    After the hammock season, we recommend disassembling the stand and storing it in a dry location. Before reassembling in spring, we recommend treating the wood with a tung (finishing) oil.
