The absence of artificial fertilizers and harsh pesticides protects our precious soils. Together with the alternating cultivation of organic cotton and other plants – also known as crop rotation – thisapproach contributes to the higher storage capacity of the soil and to comparatively low water consumption. Energy consumption is also significantly lower than in the production of conventional cotton.

Together with former national beach soccer player José Expedito and the non-profit association "Gateway to Hope", we founded the CENTRO LA SIESTA in Fortaleza in 2014. When choosing a place for your hammock stand, make sure that the ground is level and not too wet to prevent unwanted movement or sinking. The stand can be repositioned and moved as needed, so you are not tied down to one spot.

How do I care for my stand?
After the hammock season, we recommend disassembling the stand and storing it in a dry location. Before reassembling in spring, we recommend treating the wood with a tung (finishing) oil.
