The set includes the Bossanova organic cotton hammock and the Nautico stand – along with all parts and illustrated setup instructions.
Do I need trees or wall hooks?
No. The set is complete – set up the stand, hook in the hammock, done. No wall, no tree needed.
Is the hammock suitable for outdoor use?
Bossanova is designed for permanent use indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas. For permanent outdoor use we recommend the Nautico Outdoor set.
How long does setup take?
Around 15–30 minutes, with no special tools at all. Illustrated instructions are included.
Can I wash the hammock?
We recommend hand washing to protect the macramé and the decorative border. You'll find the exact care instructions on the product label.
How much weight does the set hold?
The King Size set holds up to 440 lbs. Please observe the stated maximum.
Can I use the Nautico stand with other hammocks too?
The hammock is already included in this set – but the Nautico stand itself fits all King Size hammocks, with or without a spreader bar.
How does a hammock without a spreader bar differ from one with a spreader bar?
Without a spreader bar, the hammock molds around the body – a deeper, enveloping lying sensation. With a spreader bar, the hammock always stays invitingly open.
