Lower water and energy consumption
The absence of artificial fertilizers and harsh pesticides protects our precious soils. Together with the alternating cultivation of organic cotton and other plants – also known as crop rotation – thisapproach contributes to the higher storage capacity of the soil and to comparatively low water consumption. Energy consumption is also significantly lower than in the production of conventional cotton.

Our strategy for sustainability naturally includes the issue of climate protection. We are continuously working to reduce our CO2 emissions and offset unavoidable emissions via a climate protection project. In addition to the CO2 emissions for the production and transport of our Colombian products, we also offset the energy consumption of our website and the emissions generated by our headquarters in Germany.
